Follow your NodeStitch projects on iPhone

Getting Started

Follow your NodeStitch projects on iPhone

In the NodeStitch iPhone app you can turn any of your projects from

nodestitch.app into a pattern and follow it row by row, with counters, the

highlight bar, notes and drawing, without exporting a PDF yourself.

Importing a project

  1. Open the Patterns tab.
  2. Tap From my projects, under Add a PDF.
  3. Pick the project. Projects you have already imported say so.

The app makes the pattern from your project the same way Download >

Compressed PDF does on nodestitch.app, so it looks the same. A big project

with many photos can take a minute.

It is a copy, so re-import after a change

Nothing updates by itself, and projects you never import stay off the phone.

When you change a project on nodestitch.app, press and hold its pattern on the

Patterns tab and choose Re-import from project. The pattern is replaced

with the project as it is now.

Your counters, notes and highlight bar stay. Marks you drew stay where they

were on the page, so if the change moved things around, a mark can end up

slightly off. Importing the same project again from From my projects makes

a second pattern instead.

Free plan

Imported projects do not count toward the free plan's PDF patterns, so you

can import as many of your own projects as you like. They do use storage, like

any PDF. On a free account the pattern has the small "Made with NodeStitch"

mark in the corner of each page, the same as a free PDF export.

If an import does not work

  • "Finish setting up your account on nodestitch.app first": open

nodestitch.app once, signed in, and finish the welcome steps.

  • "Sign in again": sign out of the app and back in, then import again.
  • Not enough room: your storage is full. Delete something you no longer

need and try again.
