Share and export a stitch chart
Share a chart
Click Share in the chart editor and then Make a link. Anyone with the link can open the chart in a browser, without an account: the chart, its legend, and the same row-by-row follow (their place is kept in their own browser). They cannot change it, and they do not see the rest of your pattern, its notes or its written instructions. Changes you make show the next time the link is opened. Stop sharing makes the link stop working at once; making a new link gives a new address. Sharing is free.
Exporting
Charts on your pages export with the pattern's PDF as crisp vector drawings with the legend beneath them. Charts that draw Craft Yarn Council symbols carry the line "Source: Craft Yarn Council's www.YarnStandards.com" under the legend, which the Council asks for, with the address as a link. Charts that draw JIS symbols carry "JIS-style symbols after Marnen Laibow-Koser's knitting_symbols (MIT License)". A chart of colors only draws no symbols, so it carries no credit, and neither do NodeStitch's own symbols.
Export in the chart editor (Pro) saves just the chart: a PDF split across pages when the chart is large, on A4, Letter, A3, A5, Legal or Tabloid paper, with the cell size, the overlap repeated at each seam and the legend's place your choice; a PNG image at the cell size you pick; or an SVG, the same image as vectors that stay sharp at any size and open in Illustrator, Inkscape or Affinity.
